    Wow, he makes great points. And with that kind of support withing Lebanon for the 7 points, it is disappointing that the plan was not adopted. From his perspective it doesn’t sound like they expected much from Israel but to get out of Lebanon and allow the Lebanese military and a UN force to do their jobs.

    Israel had an opportunity to build trust with and influence Saniora. He could have been a great and needed Arab ally. But that opportunity seems squandered.
