    May they endure

    Comments (none)

I learned this morning that Mount Calvary in Santa Barbara, the Benedectine Monastery that has served me for 6  years, was destroyed by the Tea Fire that hit Santa Barbara last month. I had been taking personal retreats at the Monastery since we first moved to Los Angeles. The hospitality of the monks and the staff, have given me the space to reflect, pray and rest through various seasons of my life. Though I have done retreats at other retreat centers, this monastery has always been my favorite place to go. In fact, I was planning a retreat there early next month.

    May they endure and rebuild!
